I attended Emma & Pradeeps yoga class this week for the first time. Having not been to a yoga class for some time after recent injury I knew it would be challenging. It was an incredible session, the regular participants were friendly and supportive, there were lots of poses and stretches Id never done before. Emma is extremely competent and knowledgeable in every aspect of her practice, explains everything clearly, makes necessary body adjustments and pushes you to stretch a little more. She also gives variations for each pose and stretch depending on each persons ability, this enabled me to do the class despite recovering from a knee injury.Pradeep enhanced the class using a range of singing bowls and chanting mantras along with Emma which provided an authentic ambience. The meditation at the end was also very relaxing and was much needed after the session. The following day I received a very thorough Thai massage from Pradeep who is soon to complete his training. He applied good pressure and was able to vary this depending on the area and my responses. He concentrated on my sciatic problem and on my tight calves/hamstrings which are causing me some problems. I felt very confident that Pradeep was using good techniques to tackle the problem areas, Emma was also present to observe Pradeeps session and offer some guidance and suggestions to enhance his training. She also complemented the treatment by using a wooden tapping tool & gentle vibrations to deal with some injured and sore areas on my knee and upper back.I have had lots of massage in my life both here in the UK and abroad, and this session will not disappoint. It was restorative as it loosened up some sciatic problem areas and left me feeling more energised. Having had Thai massage once before I was aware that this is not your average relaxing aromatherapy massage but if you want to work on any area of your body and can put your trust in safe hands, you will benefit greatly. Its been an absolute pleasure meeting this lovely couple and I will be back for more in the new year!
